Civic Kitchen & Drink was named around the concept of the “civic center”, a focal point for gathering a community.
Led by Chef Rick Araujo, Civic Kitchen & Drink is bringing community together by creating delicious dishes using seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and producers to provide the highest quality and freshest flavors possible.
The gastropub themed menu boasts items such as the Civic Burger, which highlights local grass-fed beef from Lilac Hedge farms (of Holden, MA) as well as delicious house made pork meatballs from Spring Ridge farm in Boylston. Hand crafted plates featuring local farmers & producers are the norm for Chef Rick and his team.
Other Civic favorites include a 16 hour braised short rib of beef, paired with local Dijon and horseradish mashed potatoes and roasted local carrots. Our Maine Family Farms smoked pork chop served with apple mostarda from Carlson Orchards is the best “pork chops and apple sauce” you will find!
